A couple of years ago I started blogging as a means of recording my training for some running and cycling events. It helped me get out on the moors or on the bike when I was tired or the weather not particularly inviting. I needed something to write about! After a while the blog became less about training and more about life, and I really enjoyed the discipline of writing something every day - until my business took over almost every waking hour and it became impossible to keep up. I've begun to reclaim a few hours each day now, but this blog is going to be a more occasional affair. It's a home for my writing, but I'm hoping that it will also help provide the impetus to write that I seem to need - knowing that there might be a few people out there interested in my ideas and adventures. Having stumbled upon this blog I hope you will find something to enjoy.
